impounding of water began in August of 2000, and the lake attained full capacity
in March of 2003!
This 60' deep, 80-acre lake offers
a variety of fun-filled activities such as: |

 | FISHING - The lake is stocked with a variety of fish for the best fishing in the area.

| BOATING - Residents will be able to canoe,
sail, and boat. However, in order to preserve the safe, quiet beauty
and natural balance of the area, only non-gasoline powered boats will be
permitted.

| SWIMMING - The cool water and sandy beach
will provide the perfect place for swimming and relaxing.

| VIEWING NATURE - Lake Troy Douglas will also be the perfect place to view the
local wildlife such as cranes, ducks, deer, and other birds and animals in their natural habitat. |
