bulletIf I build a home in McLendon Hills, do I have to use a specific builder?
No, while McLendon Hills has its own McLendon Hills Construction Company, residents are free to choose any builder to construct their dream home.  All home plans must be approved by the Architectural Review Board before construction can begin.
bulletHow many total homes will there be in McLendon Hills once it is completely developed?
There are a total of approximately 254 (plus or minus) tracts, but residents are able to purchase side-by-side lots upon which to construct their home, if they desire additional land.  So the answer to this question would depend on how many people build on one lot or on multiple lots.  
bulletWhat lots are currently available for sale?
We have lots in Phases 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 available for immediate sale.
bulletIs there a time limit on building home after a lot is purchased?
No, you may purchase a lot without a time limit on building.
bulletHow many phases will there be?
McLendon Hills will have a total of 8 phases. Six of the eight are now open.
bulletAre there minimum square footage requirements?
Yes, right now, minimum square footage requirements range from 1,800 square feet to 2,700 square feet depending on which type of lot the house is on, which phase it is in, and how many stories the house is.
bulletWhat are the schools like?
The Moore County Schools are excellent!  Residents of McLendon Hills attend West End Elementary, West Pine Middle, and Pinecrest High School. To learn more about the schools please visit Moore County Schools' website.
bulletHow much are the property taxes?
The taxes in McLendon Hills are very reasonable - just $0.548 per $100 evaluation, which includes county general taxes, fire support, and emergency 911 services.  For example, if you purchased a $300,000 home, your taxes would be $1,644/year.

Yes, annual dues for owning a lot are $285.00 per year, and dues for owning a lot with a dwelling are $480.00 per year.
bulletAre there any restrictions in place?
Yes, McLendon Hills residents must adhere to a set of Restrictive Covenants, which protect their property values and ensure a high level of quality. 
bulletIs there a Country Club or Golf Course?
Seven Lakes Country Club is near by with a golf course and tennis courts available to McLendon Hills residents at a reduced rate.
