The Area

McLendon Hills is located in the Western portion of Moore County, North Carolina in the Sandhills Region. Known as the Sandhills Region because of its landscape of rolling hills covered with course, deep sand, the area flourishes with long-leaf pines and many forms of wildlife. The region is also blessed with a pleasant four season climate that is predominantly mild and dry year-round.

  • Home of Moore Regional Hospital, a subsidiary of First Health of the Carolinas, offering a variety of medical and surgical services that are rarely found in a community of this size.
